REGISTRATION IS CLOSED FOR THIS YEAR.
Hello Lacrosse Families!
Practice starts March 15th, 2021 at the Squaw Valley Turf Field.
North Tahoe Registration begins at the link below. The cost for this season will be $150. This will include a Uniform, Practice Pinney and possibly a helmet(while supplies last). You will also be required to join US Lacrosse($25 per year) which includes a separate membership fee. We will have limited gear to lend out on a first come, first serve basis.
8U, 10U and 12U will practice on Tuesday and Thursdays.
14U will practice on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Other important dates:
April 3rd, 2021: Youth games will begin.
June 5-6, 2021: Youth Tournament
We have a few new coaches who recently played for D1 programs, and we are excited to bring them in! I am confident they will be a great addition.
The key to our season starting successfully is getting all players register, and getting a field cleared to practice on. If you know families who want to play lacrosse this season, please encourage them to register ASAP!
Next Wednesday, March 10, we will be joining forces with TNT to clear the Squaw field. The plan is to start at 1pm, and try to get the field cleared by dark. If any of you can stop by, even for just an hour, we would really appreciate your help. Bring shovels, blowers and anything else that may be useful.
As a reminder, below are the important COVID protocols for this season:
All participants (players, coaches, managers) need to fill out THIS SCREENING FORM before EACH session.
All players must have their temperature taken before each practice and game. Player temperatures must be below 100.4. We will be looking for parents to help with managing this before the start of practices to give the coaches time to focus on setting up the practice itself.
Masks must be worn until helmets go on. Coaches will be wearing masks throughout the entire practice.
We will work on distancing whenever possible. This starts when kids are dropped off, and ends when they’re picked up. The big emphasis will be put on this when they’re gearing up (we’ll be lining bags up 6’ apart), on the sidelines, and any time we huddle up.
Thank you all for bearing with us as we navigate the early season hurdles (COVID, Field Space, etc). If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
