Practice will be at Olympic Valley Park
Girls: Tuesday & Thursday 5-7pm
Boys: Tuesday & Thursday 5-7pm

Your child must have a current or new membership with US Lacrosse. This is a separate membership fee & costs $30 per year.

Both boys & girls program will be open to 8u, 10u, 12u, & 14u age groups. We anticipate fielding Tahoe Lax Teams at the 8u & 10u level. Our Middle School aged kids will be placed in the Tahoe Truckee Selects program (more info below). Field times are booked Monday -Friday afternoons from 5-7pm.

We will do our best to accommodate all age groups. Practices & teams will be set based on registration numbers & we will do our best to avoid conflicts with other Spring programs. We are hopeful that we have adequate participation to make teams & practices work for everyone.

TAHOE TRUCKEE SELECTS
Tahoe Lacrosse Foundation with support from Truckee North Tahoe is proud to announce the formation of the Tahoe Truckee Selects. This will be the regions premiere Middle School Club Lacrosse Team. TTS will be geared towards developing & preparing 6-8th graders for High School Lacrosse. The program will provide middle school kids in the Tahoe // Truckee region more opportunities to play lacrosse with a focus on building continuity & a curriculum that will better prepare kids to play at the High School level.
This program is not intended to replace our local youth recreation & travel programs. It’s intended to give kids an added opportunity to play & develop their skills. It will also serve as a bridge for kids who may not be ready to commit to full time club lacrosse by introducing intermediate & advanced concepts while also providing an opportunity for kids to compete against similar Middle School programs from the Sacramento Valley & Bay Area. In addition, they will have the option to travel to several regional lacrosse tournaments throughout the year.
This Spring we will begin by offering clinic style practices twice a week starting April 9th & ending June 9th. Practices will be scheduled around Truckee Tribe practices with the intention to provide added practices & flexibility to busy Spring schedules. We hope to carry this into the summer with 2-3 weekend training camps & one regional tournament. We will be working with TNT coaches to develop a curriculum that will prepare the kids for High School Lacrosse.
We believe bringing the kids in our region together & giving them more opportunities to practice & play the game of lacrosse is the best way for kids to get better & form a love for the sport. Please help get the word out & help us grow the program.
