COACH KATIE BIGGERS
HEAD COACH
We are thrilled to announce that Katie Biggers will be the Head Coach of our 12u girls lacrosse team this season! Katie comes to Tahoe Lacrosse with 9 years of coaching experience. She moved to Tahoe in 2019. Since that time she has been an indispensable part of growing the girls game in the Tahoe // Truckee community. Katie is a North Tahoe Community member & currently serves as the Executive Director of the Tahoe City Downtown Association.
Katie grew up on the East Coast. Originally from Northern Virginia, Katie moved to Florida where she began playing lacrosse in Middle School. She went on to play college lacrosse at the University of Central Florida where her team was nationally ranked in the WCLA Division 1. She worked her way up to captain & helped lead her team to a 2nd place ranking in the Southeastern Women’s Lacrosse League.
Katie’s years of playing & coaching combined with her passion for the game will be instrumental in guiding our girls down a positive lacrosse path. We can’t wait to see our girls progress & develop a true love for the game under Katie’s leadership!
COACH DOMINIC CHILIMIDOS
HEAD COACH
We are so excited to announce that Dominic Chilimidos will be the Head Coach of our 12u Boys Lacrosse Team this season. Coach Chili is currently the Defensive Coordinator for the Truckee North Tahoe High School Lacrosse team. He will also serve as the Head Coach for the 12u High Sierra Avalanche Club Team. We believe Coach Chili’s involvement with these three separate levels of the game aligns directly with our goals to teach & prepare our kids for the next level of the game. He gives our kids a competitive advantage & will bring out the best in them. His love for the game is infectious & we look forward to watching him help grow & better the sport in our community.
Coach Chili grew up in Moraga, California. He played lacrosse for Campolindo High School. He went on to play club ball at Colorado State University & Saint Mary’s College. He loves passing his knowledge of the game onto the kids through coaching. Coach Chili grew up spending summers in Tahoe & skiing Alpine Meadow in the winter. After college he accepted a full time job at Upland Capital Group in Incline Village. He currently lives in Tahoe City full time & loves experiencing everything the region has to offer.
